THEESatisfaction

Looking and sounding like they have been copied and pasted from the 90's THEESatisfaction are looking set to take on the UK with their first ever UK tour. Hailing from Seattle, the duo step away from templates hand given to artists and rely on using older, tried and tested techniques giving them a more authentic, vintage feel.
Having already established themselves on the Hip Hop scene being part of the collective, Shabazz Palaces, it seems these two soul-soaked R&B singers are doing it alone with writing, producing and perform all their own material.

THEESatisfaction - Do You Have The Time

THEESatisfaction give a refreshing look for the women of hip-hop, with no Lil Kim egos in sight, they promote a positive sense of purpose and their vocals take you places you went when you first heard the likes of Erykah Badu. With producing their own beats this really does piss over the Girl Power bullshit spawned out by girl singers singing songs written by men then produced by men and then being told when to piss, fart and eat by men. They're doing it their way, in their time, in their style.
It seems the self financed, self booked and promoted gigs and hand-made cds has paid of so show some apreciation and catch them in the UK this April.
